Is SureSmile the same as Invisalign?
Both are clear aligner systems that use custom trays to straighten teeth. SureSmile is made by Dentsply Sirona. We’ll explain how it works for your teeth at your consultation.
How long does treatment take?
It depends on your teeth. Many mild cases finish in several months, while others take longer.
We’ll give you an estimate after your 3D scan.
Do aligners hurt?
You may feel pressure for a day or two when you switch to a new set of trays. That means they’re working, and it usually fades quickly.
Can I eat with my aligners in?
No. Take your aligners out to eat or drink anything but water, then brush your teeth before putting them back in.
Who is a good candidate for SureSmile?
Teens and adults with mild to moderate crowding, gaps or bite problems are often good candidates. Some complex cases do better with braces.
